K-12Butts County Public Schools operate five schools and a preschool program serving the system’s 3500+ students. All schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The system has a wide range of instructional programs, including: pre-school, early childhood, middle grades, high school, guidance, art, music, physical education, vocational, media, special education and gifted courses. Extracurricular activities include athletics, band, chorus and a variety of other clubs. In addition to the public school system, there are several private schools located near by.
