With a North Georgia location roughly equidistant from Atlanta and Macon, and two truck-friendly exits on Interstate 75, Butts County, Georgia and the cities of Jackson, Jenkinsburg and Flovilla are ready to do business. Butts County is only 40 minutes from the busiest airport in the world and a three-hour drive from the largest single-terminal container facility of its kind in North America and the nation’s second-busiest container port at Savannah. Butts County, Georgia’s location is a logistical dream come true. Multiple sites are available in the county that feature ideal strategic locations for industries that seek connectivity to rapidly growing markets and the major metropolitan areas of the Southeast.
The quarterly meeting of the Butts County Industrial Development Authority and the monthly meeting of the Development Authority of Butts County (DABC) will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. The offices of the Development Authority have relocated to the Historic Butts County Courthouse at 25 Second Street, Jackson, GA 30233.
