The Development Authority of Butts County meets monthly, generally on the second Friday of each month at 9:00 a.m. at the Historic Butts County Courthouse.

The monthly meeting of the  Development Authority of Butts County originally scheduled for Friday, November 12th, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, November 12, 2025, beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the Historic Butts County Courthouse at 25 Third Street, Jackson GA 30233. The Development Authority meeting will precede a joint meeting of the Butts County Board of Commissioners, the Development Authority, the Butts County School Board and the Butts County Water Authority which will follow at 8:30 a.m. A copy of the Development Authority meeting agenda is attached below:
